JANUARY 21 2009
We started the 3 weeks of “song writing and recording”
1 day down (put number her) 2 go
Todays was actually OK. It was kinda weird in the morning though. Everyone was really non-talkative. It doesn't really matter since we went 2 watch obama at 10. “Those 3” are so dumb. I was in the room creaking jokes with them for part of “it”. I did go watch obama get sworn in and give his speech. It was pretty cool since we had the big screens and everything.

lol sorry had 2 say it. OK well if u don't know already I go 2 a performing arts school. We do things a lot different from other schools. For one most high schools have 4 semesters. We however only have 2. Since you cant split the school year into 2 even parts we have this thing called (u say it this way) PIE-DAY-UH. Thats the 3 week grace period between semesters. For that theres a bunch of different clubs and stuff and you pick the 3 u want 2 be in most. You get put into one of those and thats what you do all day for the next 3 weeks. Its way more fun than it sounds. You can go watch the dancers and plays being worked on and what not. U don't just stay in one room all. Week. This is getting long I think im a stop here. I didn't notice how long it was cause I was typing mad fast. Lol

3- make utube vids of me singing then i can promote this or w/e

i was doing a remix/duet with aaliyah. Im doing some of the vocals on her song "journey to the past". I just finished and i think its pretty good. My friend danny is going 2 mix it and what not them ill be able 2 put it on the net. Im going 2 have some original songs and a utube up soon 2 so til then....dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! lolz

btw- tell the truth .... when i said "im doing a duet with aaliyah" u though i was crazy or was like "shes alive!?!" huh? lolz more journals coming soon!

Ok so I haven't posted on this but this is why- iv started recording! Iv been a bit busy as you could imagine. But iv been keeping a journal of things going on with my recording and music in general. Im gona be posting that stuff and u know music I like blahs blah blah lolz -cherry

I just realized its my brothers bdays....HAPPY BDAY MIKE AND MOE! ~twins!~ Its also M.L.K day and the day before we officially have our 1st black president. Im @ my dads doing hw with Whitney Houston's greatest hits CD playing. IDK where my journal is. It must of walked itself out my bag I guess (jk). I think im going to use this book for the blog. I'll write down things to do with my music or things to do with my preforming in here. It would be hard to pick out what things to psst from the other one. The song

by W. Houston just went off. Thats one of the songs I wana remake. Its also the song I sung for my 1st play try out. I was in a play when I was younger but that was different. I was in drama club and everyone had to have a part. This was like a real try out like the best person- well the people they think are best for the part- get picked. Mostly 12th graders got parts because of how the play is. My friends told me a did good though. Thus other guy I didnt even know told me I did good too.

I was in the lab minding my own business when someone sat down next to me. I looked up and....;

m/v: you were at the Tuesday auditions huh?
Cherry: yeah you were too right?
m/v: yeah-you did really well with the singing part
cherry:thanks-your like the 3rd person to tell me that and I still dont believe it. I think I sounded shakey.
m/v: cause you were nervous right?
Cherry: yeah
m/v: its ok we all get nervous. Singing a-Capella is so scary.
Cherry: yeah it is. Plus that was only like my 2nd time auditioning in front of people like that.
m/v: yeah singing is like the hardest thing to do infront of people
cherry: you did really well though

Then we talked about the play and some other stuff but I dont remember the rest.
